Dhaka stocks open higher

The first trading day of the week began with increased opening prices for shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The DSEX, the major Bangladeshi stock exchange's benchmark index, increased 71 points, or 1.12%, to 6,426 at noon. The total revenue was 1,301 crore Tk.

Of the securities, 268 advanced, 56 declined and 57 did not show any price movement.
