Schoolteacher sued over raping a girl in Jessore

A case was filed against a schoolteacher on charge of violating a young girl at a residential hotel in Rail Road area of Jessore town on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
The accused was identified as Maniruzzaman Moinul, a teacher of Akij Collegiate School in Jhikargachha.
According to the case statement, Moinul had developed a relationship of love with the young girl over mobile phone.
On Tuesday night, Moinul took the girl to a residential hotel in Jessore town promising to marry her.
At one stage, he raped the girl there.
Later, the girl filed a case with Kotwali Model Police Station against Moinul in connection with the incident, said officer-in-charge of the police station Abdul Gani.
