Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and the regions of Madaripur and Faridpur, said a met office release today.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, reports BSS.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning.
Meanwhile, mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Naogaon, Srimangal and Rangamati.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature was recorded on Wednesday at 26.2 degree Celsius jointly at Sitakunda and Kutubdia and minimum temperature today was recorded at 8.5 degree Celsius at Srimangal.
Maximum rainfall was 13 mm at Mongla.
The sunset on Thursday in the capital will be at 5:42 pm and the sunrise on Friday at 6:41 am.
