Truckload of Indian three-pieces seized

Detectives seized a truckload of Indian contraband three-pieces worth Tk13 lakh from Khajura bus stand area in Uposhohor of Jessore town on Saturday night.

 

Kamruzzaman, sub-inspector of the Detective Branch of police, Jessore, said being informed that a truck carrying smuggled three-pieces was going to Dhaka, they conducted a drive in Khajura bus stand area at 12:30 am.

 

They seized the truck carrying 660 Indian three-pieces brought from India through Satkhira border.

 

A case was filed against Monir Hossain Moni, driver and owner of the truck, with Kotwali Police Station.
