Explosion at Jessore Shaheed Minar, 10 arrested

Two crude bombs were exploded at central Shaheed Minar here on Saturday midnight when people were paying tributes to the martyrs of the 1952 Language Movement.
Witnesses said some miscreants hurled the two crude bombs targeting the altar around 12:09 am, triggering panic among people who assembled there to pay homage to language martyrs.
Police fired 15 rounds of bullets to bring the situation under control, sources said.
However, ten people were slightly injured in stampede during the blasts and they were given first aid.
Ten people has been arrested in connection with the incident.
