1 to die for Narsingdi college student murder

A Narsingdi court has sentenced a man to death for the murder of a college student Rinvi Akter Dipa in the district.

The court of District and Sessions Judge Begum Fatema Najib handed down the verdict on Tuesday morning.

The convict is Al Amin, 28, son of Miar Uddin of Bajnabo village under Belabo upazila.

On May 8, 2015, Al Amin hacked Dipa to death at Belabo upazila’s Bajnabo village. Locals caught Amin the same day and handed him over to police.
