Tanu's dead body to be taken out of grave Tuesday

The Judicial Magistrate Court in Comilla has ordered in this regard on Monday.

 

The DB Investigation Officer (IO) of the case in Comilla, AKM Manzurul Alam, has confirmed this to Samakal, this afternoon.

 

'One of the magistrates will lead the taking out under the court's direction on Tuesday,' Manzurul Alam also added.

 

Earlier the Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the killers of Comilla Victoria College student Sohagi Jahan Tanu will be tried.

 

'We have unearthed the mysteries of many big incidents. So, the mystery of Tanu murder will also be unearthed though it may take a little bit time,' said the minister.

 

Sohagi Jahan Tanu, a second year student of History Department of Comilla Victoria College and member of the college’s theatre, was found dead in a bush beside a culvert inside the Comilla Cantonment area on Sunday night.

 

Her head was smashed, and she had allegedly been raped.
