Woman allegedly gang raped on a running bus at Madhupur

An women has been allegedly gang raped on a running bus in the Madhupur upzila of Tangail district.

 

The incident happened in a passenger bus of Binimoy Paribahan while setting off from Dhonbari to Dhaka Friday morning.

 

Police said three has been arrested in connection to the case.

 

Dhonobari police stations Officer-in-chrage (Investigation) Hasan Mostafa told the Samakal after the victim's husband filed a case against three persons they caught the bus's driver and three of his helpers from Dhonbari bus stand area. They were produced before court Saturday morning.

 

The accused are-- driver Noyon and his aidee Rezaul and Abdul Khaleque.

 

The victim (23) has been admitted to Tangail Medical College Hospital for physical examination.
