14 Jamaat-Shibir men among 63 held in Pabna

Police arrested 63 people, including 14 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir from different places of the district from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning, reports the UNB.

 

Sources at the district police control room said police conducted a drive in different areas of 11 upazilas of the district and arrested the 63.

 

Among the arrestees, 13 are from Ishwardi, 11 from Sadar uazila, six from Faridpur, Bera and Ataikula upazilas each, five from Santhia, four from Sujanagar, three from Chatmohor and two from Atgharia, Bhangura and Aminpur upazilas each.
