2 found murdered inside Jessore filling station

Two people were found murdered inside a filling station of Bagharpara upazila in Jessore early Monday.   

The incident took place at ‘Abdul Bari Filing Station’ in Charabhita area under the upazila sometime during last night, police said.

The deceased were identified as the filling station’s manager Obaidul Islam, 30, son of Abdur Rahman Molla, and Lizon Ahmed Likhon, 24, son of Sadar Uddin.

Sayer Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Bagharpara Police Station, said Obaidul and Likhon slept inside the filling station after closing it at Sunday night.

Later locals found the two lying dead with stab injuries in the morning and informed police who recovered the bodies, he said.

They might have been killed by their coworker Sirajul Islam over previous enmity, added the OC.

However, the filling station’s employee Sirazul Islam has been missing since Monday morning.
