4 injured in blast while making bomb in C’nawabganj

Four people received burn injuries in an explosion while making bombs at the house of a union parishad member at Narayanpur village in Sadar upazila on Thursday night.
The injured were identified as Suman, 28, son of UP member Humayan, Arif, 44, son of Majed, Jahidul, 40, son of Montaz, Jasim and Anwar, reports UNB.
Sub-inspector of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station Mahbub said the explosion took place when Suman and his four associates were making bombs in the night, leaving all of them injured.
Among the injured, Suman, Arif and Jahidul were whisked off to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police also arrested two people in this connection and recovered 50 crude bombs and bomb making materials.
