10 to die for Rangpur double murder

A Rangpur court has awarded death penalty to 10 people for robbing a truck loaded with rice after killing two at Taraganj Upazila in the district.
Ending a10-year of waiting, Additional District and Sessions Judge of Rangpur Abu Jafar Md Kamruzzaman handed down the verdict on Thursday.
On March 28, 2006, the rice-loaded truck was looted after robbers killed the driver Sontosh Kumar and his assistant Manoranjan.
