Train services of Khulna restored after 5hrs

Train communication of Khulna with rest of the country was restored after nearly a five-hour halt following the derailment of a freight train at Singia Railway station on Wednesday morning.

Assistant Station Master of Jessore Railway Station Saiduzzaman told reporters that train communications resumed around 10am, UNB reports.

Train communication in the routes linking Khulna to rest of the country remained suspended following the derailment of a freight train at Singia Railway Station in Sadar upazila early morning today (Wednesday).

Station master of Jessore Railway Station Kushab Kundu said four bogies of the stone-laden train veered off the track while it was crossing Singia station around 5am.
