Mymensingh road mishap kills 3

Three people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a three-wheeler in Mymensingh on Friday morning.  

The road accident took place in Gachtala Bazar area on Mymensingh-Netrokona road under Tarakanda upazila around 6:30am.

Two of the deceased were identified as Modina Begum, 35, of Gauripur and Md Fakhruddin, 42, of Tarakanda.

Mazharul Hoque, OC of Tarakanda Police Station, said the truck collided with the human hauler in the area this morning, leaving two passengers of the three-wheeler dead on the spot and three others injured.

The driver of the three-wheeler died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital while the injured have been admitted there, he said.
