4 killed in Comilla road crash

At least four people were killed and three others injured as a truck hit a pick-up van in Comilla on Friday morning.

The road accident took place on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Dayapur in Chouara area of Sadar Dakkhin upazila around 7:00am.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Nazrul Islam, OC of Sadar Dakkhin Model Police Station, said the speeding bus hit the pick-up van from behind, leaving its four passengers dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies and send those to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
