Babul Akter now director of a pvt hospital

The former Superintendent of Police Babul Akter who was suspended from his duty over the murder incident of his wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, has started his new job at a private hospital in the capital.

 

He joined as an Assistant Director at the Ad-din Barrister Rafiqul Haque Hospital at Postogola area in the city, says Babul's father-in-law, Mosharref Hossain.

 

Mosharref Hossain on Sunday told Samakal that he joined the hospital from November 1.

 

Earlier on September 6, the former SP has been relieved from his duty over the murder incident of his wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu.

 

Several suspected killers were also arrested for their involvement with Mitu murder and Babul Akter was quizzed to verify their info, police said at that time.

 

Earlier on June 5, Mitu, 32, was stabbed and shot dead by unidentified assailants at the port city's GEC intersection on her way to drop her son to school.
