Dinajpur youths ‘picked up by RAB’

The three youths, whose bullet-riddled bodies recovered from Kolapara area in Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur this morning, were allegedly picked up by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

The youths were identified as Redwan Sabbir, 25, Abu Abdullah, 30, and Sohel Rana, 20, from Natore Sadar and all were local Jubo League leaders.

Rokhsana Begum, mother of Sabbir, had filed a missing diary with Natore police station saying the three youths went missing on Saturday night.

Locals spotted the bodies of the three youths at a mango orchard in Kolapara area and informed the police, said Nuruzzaman Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge of Ghoraghat Police Station.

Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bullet-riddled dead bodies of the three youths age around 25 to 30, said the OC.
