Khadiza goes back home

Sylhet college girl Khadiza Begum Nargis, who was attacked by Sylhet Shahjalal Science and Technology University (SUST) student Badrul, was discharged from hospital and she went home today.
Khadiza who was undergoing treatment at Savar Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), has been landed at the Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, this noon.
Earlier in the day, the CRP authorities have handed over her to the relatives around 9am on Friday, says Dr. Saeed Uddin Helal, of the CRP.
CRP high officials were present at that time.
Khadiza has to take medicine for next several years to be cured fully, her doctors said earlier.
Khadiza, 23, was chopped by Sylhet Shahjalal Science and Technology University student Badrul on her way back after an examination at Sylhet MC College on October 3 last.
She was first admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. The following day, she was shifted to Square Hospital in Dhaka and kept on life support.
She underwent separate critical surgical operations one after another in Square Hospital.
