Kader Khan confesses to MP Liton murder: Police

Abdul Kader Khan, former Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) MP of Jatiya Party (JP), who was arrested over MP Manjurul Islam Liton murder case, has confessed his involvement in the murder, say police.
The JP leader gave a statement in this connection before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Joynal Abedin in Sundarganj, Gaibandha on Saturday night.
Rangpur range Additional DIG, Bashir Ahmed, has confirmed this to Samakal.
A district court earlier remanded Abdul Kader Khan for 10 days over MP Manjurul Islam Liton murder case.
Police, earlier, alleged that Abdul Kader Khan was the mastermind of the murder.
Kader Khan was arrested from his residence at Rahmannagar Ziladarpara in Bogra district town on Feb 21.
