MP Liton murder: Kader Khan placed on fresh remand

A district court placed Abdul Kader Khan, former Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) MP from Jatiya Party (JP), on 5-day fresh remand in MP Manjurul Islam Liton murder case.

Gaibandha Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Moinul Hasan Yusuf passed the order on Wednesday.

Earlier on February 22, the same court placed Kader Khan on 10-day remand.

On February 21, the former JP lawmaker Kader Khan was arrested in Bogra for his alleged connection with the murder of Gaibandha-1 lawmaker from the ruling Awami League, Liton.
