Miru's shotgun's led-ball found in Journo Shimul's body

Sirajgnaj's Shahjadpur Municipality Mayor Halimul Haque Miru's shotgun's led-ball was found in the head of Samakal Correspondent Abdul Hakim Shimul.

Ballistic report stated the matter which was submitted to the court, as per of investigation in the journalist murder case.

On February 2, the Daily Samakal’s Shahjadpur Correspondent was shot during a factional clash Shahjadpur between the supporters of ousted Shahjadpur Municipality Awami League president Abdur Rahim (VP Rahim) and the party unit's Organisational Secretary and Mayor Miru in Monirampur area of Sirajganj’s Shahjadpur.

Later, the journalist succumbed to his injuries on the following day.

On February 5, Mayor Halimul Haque Miru was arrested from capital’s Shyamoli area.
