Bogra Gabtali Thana OC committed 'suicide'

A police member allegedly committed suicide in Gabtoli Thana Quarter in Bogra district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Gabtoli Model Thana officer-in-charge (OC) ANM Abdullah Hasan hailed from Natore's Boraigram.

Bogra additional superintendent of police (Sadar) Sanatan Kumar Chakrabarti confirmed the matter to Samakal.

He said the law enforcers recovered the body from his quarter around 11:00am and sent to the morgue for autopsy.

A police source said Hasan had been transferred to Gabtoli Thana on February 6 from Pabna for women-related allegations.
