4 killed in Feni road crash

At least four people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a lorry on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Mohammad Ali Bazar area of Feni Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

Officer in-charge (OC) of Mohipal Highway Police Station Mostafa Kamal confirmed the casualties to The Daily Samakal.

He, however, said the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

“The accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound bus of Unique Paribahan collided head-on with a lorry in the area around 11.45 am, leaving one dead on the spot and several others seriously injured,” he said.

Of the injured, two died on the way to Feni General Hospital and one in hospital.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital, the OC added.
