Abdur Rahman Master of Nandail passes away

Mohammad Abdur Rahman (70), a former assistant teacher of Charuttarband Government Primary School located in Char Betagair Union under Nandail Upazila of Mymensingh District, has passed away on Friday (December 2) evening (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).

Mohammad Abdur Rahman, son of late Ruptan Ali of Char Srirampur (South) village, has been suffering from various old-age complications. He left behind his wife, two sons, four daughters, a good number of relatives and numerous students and well-wishers.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at 11 am on Saturday (December 3) at his residence. Later, he will be buried next to his parents' graves in the family graveyard.

Four social workers, including Mohammad Abdur Rahman, established Char Uttarband Primary School. He retired after teaching as an assistant teacher for a long time at the school. Apart from teaching, he was closely involved in various social welfare activities.

He is the nephew of late Mohammad Hossain Ali, the founder headmaster of Char Srirampur (South) Government Primary School established in 1920.
