3 killed as train hits auto-rickshaw

Three passengers of a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw were killed and at least two others injured when a train hit them at Khilar Tughuria railway crossing in Nangalkot of Comilla at 10:30 am on Tuesday.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Laksam Railway Police Station Abdul Alim said that all the injured and dead were passengers of auto-rickshaw. The death toll may rise further.

He also said the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
