Man held with Yaba tablets in Rajshahi

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has held a suspected drug dealer along with 1,020 fake Yaba tablets on Sunday night.

The arrestee was identified as Masud Parvej, 45, the son of Imran Ali of Halidagachhi village in Charghat Upazila in the district, said RAB officials on Monday morning.

RAB sources claim that at around 9.45 p.m., an elite force team conducted a raid in the Halidagachhi district and held him with the illegal drugs.

Once a case was filed in this respect with Charghat Police Station, the arrested person and the materials that had been seized were handed over to the police this morning.
