3 friends killed as truck hits their motorcycle in Faridpur

Three friends were killed when a truck hit their motorbike on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Ghopghat area of Bagat Union of Madhukhali Upazila of Faridpur at around 8 pm on Tuesday.

The deceased are Mujibar Sardar's son Hussain Sardar, 20; Idris Biswas's son Nahid Biswas, 21; and Badsha Biswas's son Zobair Biswas, 20.

Chairman of Bagat Union Parishad (UP) Matiar Rahman Khan said all the victims were residents of Biswaspara area of Bagat Union.

Faridpur Assistant Superintendent of Police (Madhukhali Circle) Suman Kar said the bodies of the deceased are currently in the Upazila Health Complex. Legal action in this regard is under process, he added.
