Derailment in Lawacchara: 4 Dhaka-Sylhet trains cancelled

The train schedule of Sylhet was severely disrupted as four trains were cancelled on the Dhaka-Sylhet route following a derailment on Saturday morning.

Confirming the matter, Kulaura Junction railway station master Roman Ahmed the passengers of the four cancelled trains were notified and they will get their money back.

Two compartments and the engine of a Sylhet-bound train derailed at Lawachhara in Moulvibazar on Saturday morning, snapping Sylhet's rail communication with the rest of the country.

The Udoyon Express veered off the tracks at around 5am when it was hit by a falling tree.
