2 bikers dead in separate accidents in Satkhira

Two motorbike riders were killed in separate accidents in Kalaroa Upazila of Satkhira District on Wednesday.

The deceased are Mahmud Koli from Shakda village of 10 no Kushodanga union, and Toyap Karigar, a businessman from Jhaudanga Bazar of Satkhira Sadar.

Kalaroa Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Mostafizur Rahman said, "Mahmud Koli was driving his motorbike towards Kalaroa Bazar. He lost control of the vehicle in the Shakda area and crashed. He died on the spot."

Meanwhile, Toyap Karigar was on his way to Bagachra Bazar in Jashore. He lost control of his motorbike in the Kazirhat area of the Satkhira-Jashore highway and crashed into a tree. The crash left him dead on the spot.

The bodies were recovered and sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue, the OC said.
