3 dead as bus runs over autorickshaw in Habiganj

Three people were killed when a bus hit a CNG
auto-rickshaw in Habiganj on Sunday.
Confirming the incident, Shayestaganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Nazmul Haque said, "An auto-rickshaw was going to Habiganj from Shayestaganj with two passengers aboard. When the vehicle reached Sudiakhola Primary School, a Modern Enterprise bus going to Dhaka from Habiganj hit the auto-rickshaw.
"Passengers of the auto-rickshaw, as well as the driver,
died on the spot. The bus also fell to the side of the road."
The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Rafiq
Miah, 35, Ziaul Haque, 36, and Md Musa Miah, 64.
On information, police members from the Sayestaganj station recovered the bodies and sent them to the Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue. The bus driver escaped the scene, the OC said.
