Pickup van-motorbike collision kills 2 in Gazipur

A collision between a pickup van and a motorbike has killed two men in the Hatiab area of Gazipur Sadar. The accident injured another man. All three were friends.

The deceased were identified as Jahid Hasan and Akash Mahmud. This incident happened on Sunday evening.

Local sources said the three men were riding a motorcycle which collided with a pickup van in the Hatiab area. Jahid died on the spot. Akash died while the other two were being rushed to a hospital.

Gazipur Sada Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ziaul Islam confirmed the matter. He said the injured were being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) when Akash died.
