Free dengue test opens in Chattogram

A free dengue test program was launched on Monday by Chattogram City Corporation's (CCC) health department.

CCC Mayor Reazaul Karim Chowdhury opened the programme at the CCC General Hospital.

This program will include the NS1, CBC, and Platelet tests that are used to diagnose dengue every day from 9 am to 8 pm.

According to CCC Mayor, a 100-day emergency dengue campaign has been launched by the corporation.

In order to protect city residents and inform them about the outbreak and spread of dengue diseases, the CCC has already distributed brochures, public service announcements, media commercials, and spray of pharmaceuticals to all 41 wards. 

The mayor also urged residents to keep their residences, places of employment, and educational facilities clean.
