30 detained after Jamaat-Shibir men clash with police in Ctg

At least 30 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir have been detained following a clash between police and members of the two organisations in Chattogram city on Tuesday afternoon.

The clash and chase and counter-chase took place over holding a 'gayebana janaza' for convicted war criminal and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayeedi after Zohr prayers at Jamiatul Falah Jame Masjid ground in the port city.
