Bus runs over pedestrian in Faridpur

A pedestrian was killed when a bus ran him over in Saltha of Faridpur. The incident happened at the Char Ballavdi Mollar More area of Ballavdi Union on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Nayem Molla, 24. He is an expatriate who lived in Saudi Arabia and came to visit his family some days ago, locals said.

Nayem was on his way to a relative's house when a bus ran him over at the Char Ballavdi Mollar More area. He died on the spot.

Bhanga Highway Police Officer in Charge Md Taimur Islam said Nayem's body was recovered and brought to the police station. Legal measures will be taken in this regard.
