2 workers die after falling off under-construction building at PUST

Two workers were killed and another injured when a rope snapped from a 12-storey under-construction building at Pabna University of Science and Technology at around 9 am on Friday.

Pabna Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kripa Sindhu Bala said the deceased were Tuhin, 25, son of Azizur Rahman of Char Basudebpur Baganpara area of Chapainawabganj, and Asadul Ali, 27, son of late Mojibur Rahman of Godagari of Rajshahi district.

The injured worker is Rabiul Awal, son of Nayan Ali of Char Anupnagar area of Panditpara of Chapainawabganj, he added.
