Suspended ADC Harun transfered to Rangpur

Harun-or-Rashid, the DMP's Ramna Division's suspended additional deputy commissioner, has been attached to the Rangpur Range DIG Office.

On Tuesday, a circular in this regard was released by the home ministry's Public Security Division.

The update took place a day after Harun was fired by the administration.

On Saturday night, Harun and a number of other police officers are accused of torturing two Chhatra League officials inside the capital's Shahbagh Police Station.

Harun was assigned to the Police department's main office following his suspension.

Harun was transferred to the Public Order Management Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Sunday after being removed from the Ramna Division. He was later posted to the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) on the same day.
