Physician hacked to death in Rajshahi

A physician named Golam Kazem Ali was hacked to death in the Bornalir More area of Rajshahi City on Sunday midnight.

The deceased was a former MBBS student of the 42nd batch of Rajshahi Medical College (RMC). He was a Dermatology and VD specialist.

RMC police box in charge Mukul Hossain said Kazem Ali was returning home from his chamber at Popular Diagnostic Centre on a bike. When he reached the Bornalir More area at around 11:45pm on Sunday, miscreants got off a microbus and hacked him fatally.

Locals rescued the physician and rushed him to RMC. He died there shortly after due to excessive blood loss.
