Bus-autorickshaw collision kills 7 in Hathazari

A head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run autorickshaw has killed seven people in Hathazari of Chattogram.

Two people were also injured in the incident near the upazila's Charia Iztema grounds on the Khagrachhari Highway at around noon.

On information, police from Hathazari Model Police Station, Nazirhat Highway Police, and members of the Fire Service and Civil Defence reached the spot and recovered the bodies.

Confirming the incident, Hathazari Fire Service Station official Shahjahan said the bodies were recovered and the injured were being sent to a hospital.

The deceased could not be identified yet, said Hathazari Model Police Station Officer in Charge Moniruzzaman.
