One held with 302 bottles phensedyl in C'nawabganj

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 302 bottles of contraband Indian phensedyl from Shibganj in Chapainawabganj district early on Saturday.

The arrestee was identified as Md Sajib Ali, 20, of Kalitala Fakirpara under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila.

According to RAB, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at 4 No Beribandh (Pulpara) area under Ghorapakhia union of Shibganj upazila in the district at around 12:05am and arrested Sajib with the phensedyl.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Shibganj Station with a case.
