2 buses torched in Natore

Miscreants poured petrol on two parked buses and set them on fire in the Baraharishpur area of Natore city.

The incident happened at around 11pm on Sunday.

According to police and locals, two buses named "Sami Jony" and "Rajokiyo Paribahan" were parked next to each other on the east side of the VIP Hotel near the Gani Haji Pump of the Baraharishpur area. Several miscreants torched the buses and ran away. Locals spotted the fire and called the Fire Service. On information, Fire Service members arrived and brought the fire under control after 45 minutes.

Natore Sadar Police Station Officer in Charge Nasim Ahmed said police are trying to identify the people responsible for the act of arson.
