Road accident kills 2 in Kaliakair

Two passengers of a private car were killed on the spot when the car overturned after colliding with a road divider in the Palli Bidyut area of Gazipur's Kaliakair on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Abu Taher, 45, and Ibrahim, 36.

Confirming the matter, Nawzoe Highway Police Officer in Charge Shahadat Hossain said, the car and the bodies were recovered and brought to the police station. The bodies will not be going through autopsy and will be handed to their families, he added.
