Road accident kills 3 in Narayanganj

Three people died and four were injured when two private cars collided head-on at Rupganj of Narayanganj on Tuesday.

Confirming the matter, Highway Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Nazmul Hasan said the incident happened at the Bhuiyan Bridge area on the 300-feet road at around 9:30am. The identity of the deceased or the injured could not be confirmed yet.

Citing the locals, the ASI said one person died on the spot after the collision. Members of the Fire Service and Civil Defence rescued two more in critical condition. They died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Another 3-4 people were injured and they are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
