Train derails in Joydebpur

The Turag Commuter Train derailed at the Joydebpur Station in Gazipur at around 7:30am on Wednesday.

Joydebpur Junction Master Hanif Ali said, the train was on its way to Dhaka and it was running very slow. It suddenly went off the tracks.

The driver started the train before receiving a signal from the lineman, which caused the derailment, he added.

However, the derailment did not affect rail communication on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route.
