3 bodies of a family recovered in Sirajganj

The bodies of three family members were recovered from a flat in Barwari Battala area under Tarash municipality of the district of Sirajganj on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Bikash Sarkar, 45, his wife Swarna Sarkar, 40, and their daughter Parmita Sarkar Tushi,15.

Tarash Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md Nure Alam said police recovered the bodies of the couple and their daughter from the flat around 3am.

He added that husband, wife and daughter were hacked and slaughtered.

Teams of RAB, Police, CID and PBI started investigation the incident, he continued.
