7 killed in Mymensingh road crash

At least seven people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Mymensingh's Tarakanda on Friday morning.

Tarakanda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain confirmed the deaths.

Several others were injured in the accident that happened around 11:00am, the OC said, adding that policemen were rushed to the spot for conducting rescue operation.

He apprehended that the death toll may increase. 

The identities of the casualties were not found immediately.
