64 gold bars recovered at Shah Amanat Airport

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) has recovered 64 gold bars at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport on Friday night.

A total of 64 gold bars was wrapped in black tape and hidden under an empty seat of an Oman Air aircraft WY-311 that left Dubai at 8:48 pm, according to CIID Assistant Director Abdul Motin Talukdar. 

The market value of the roughly 7.5 kilogram gold bars is approximately Taka six crore.
