Fire destroys 250 houses in Ukhiya Rohingya camp

A fire has broken out at Camp-13 of Balukhali Rohingya Camp in Cox's Bazar's Ukhiya on Friday. Two units of the Fire Service and Civil Defences (FSCD) brought the fire under control after two hours. 

The fire started at around 11:30am on Friday and razed at least 250 houses to the ground, confirmed 8-APBn Captain ADIG Md Amir Jafar. 

He said, the fire originated from the office of an NGO named Caritas and spread because of gusts of wind. He also mentioned that while there were no casualties, around 250 houses were burned.
