Bus-truck collision kills 2 in Rajbari

A head-on collision between a bus and a truck has killed two in Rajbari Sadar Upazila. The accident on Friday morning also injured four. 

One of the deceased was identified as Shakib while the other remains unidentified. 

According to police and fire service, a passenger bus bound for Faridpur left from Rajbari city's Boropul. When the bus reached in front of Alipur Technical Training Centre, a good-laden truck coming from the opposite direction collided with it head-on. The collision damaged the front ends of both vehicles. The injured people were rescued but two of them died on the way to Rajbari Sadar Hospital. 

Confirming the matter, Ahladipur Highway Police Officer-in-Carge Abdul Halim said the two vehicles were seized and the legal procedure was underway.
