85 Bangladeshi nationals back home from Myanmar

A total of 85 Bangladesh nationals have returned to the country after serving sentences of various lengths in Myanmar prisons. 

Aside from that, 123 members of the Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) and the army were sent back to their home country. 

The Bangladeshi nationals were brought back on the Karnaphuli Tug-1 ship to the BIWTA port of Nuniachhara in Cox's Bazar at around 9am on Sunday. The Myanmar nationals to be sent back to their country were also gathered at the same port. 

Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Salahuddin confirmed the matter.
