Bus-truck collision kills 4, injures 8 in Tangail

A head-on collision between a bus and truck at the Kalihati area of Tangail has killed four people and injured at least eight. The identity of the victims could not be confirmed immediately. 

The incident happened at around 1 am on Friday on the Kalihati Link Road of the Tangail-Mymensingh Road, Elenga Highway Police In-Charge Nannu Khan confirmed. Four passengers of the bus died on the spot. Eight of the injured were rescued and sent to Tangail General Hospital. Three of them are in critical condition. 

Both vehicles were seized after the incident, he added.
